The lodge records of Albert Edward Prince of Wales Lodge No. 1429 show that he was "Lost at Sea Oct/17." On this record it betrays that his mother lodge is Lodge of Amity No. 137 at Poole, him having been initiated into it 1891. He is recorded as a Master Mariner resident at Wimborne. Unfortunately, things went wrong by 1895 and he had four years of arrears/absence before he was excluded in 1898. He must have repaid his dues as he is joined to the latter lodge in 1911, when he is now shown resident at Newport.
