Early Life :

Born in 1876, Stoke Newington. Married Rosa Mabel (nee Quail) at St Faith's Church, Stoke Newington 4th July, 1908. He was a Black & White Artist working for the print industry, newspapers and magazines. In 1911, he is recorded on the census as living at 3 Stamford Mansions, Stamford Grove East, Clapton.

He is buried at Etaples Military Cemetery.
