Mike: HMS Contest 18th September 1917, North Atlantic in the South Western Approaches to the English Channel - torpedoed by German U-boat. Possibly one of the ships transferred to Devonport and on convoy escort or patrol duties. One source dates her loss on the 19th September. Her wartime crew was around 77. Fifty men were picked up
