Early Life :

Born 1879 son of WBaptised, aged 13 at St John the Baptist Church, Leamington, Warwickshire, England. He is listed at his Grandparents at the 1881 Census, but by 1901, aged 22 he is a listed as a Coach [Builder], boarding at house of Arthur J. Leighton.

Married to Ellen May Jane Fox and resident at 150 Alexander Road, Acocks Green, Leamington Spa in 1911, along with their daughter b.1910, Muriel May Heden Fox. At this time he is listed as a Manager of a Coach and Motor Body Builders.

Employed as a 36 year old Manager and resident in Edgbaston upon initiation in 1915 into Mozart Lodge. One years' war service is recorded under his entry within the contribution record followed by two years of arrears (1920-21), and whilst there is no note about what may have happened to him, there is a note on his line: "Returns to the letter but particulars unknown."

Whilst Alexander is not listed on the 1921 or 1933 rolls, he is commemorated on the list on the Warwickshire Memorial to Warwickshire Province Masons who died in the Great War and which is displayed at Yenton Masonic Hall, Birmingham (formerly at the Masonic Hall at Stirling Road, Birmingham).
