Natural causes is attributed those deaths due to causes that were not directly associated with the war. Included in this are wartime deaths resulting from, for example, theSpanish Influenza pandemic and its associated pneumonia problems and other attributions such as age and exhaustion. It also groups those who through Post Traumatic Stress committed suicide as a result of their experiences.
Court Martial Held at Etaples, 22nd August 1917, 'When on Active Service, conduct to the prejudice of good order and Military discipline, in that he, at Etaples, on the 1st August 1917, became unfit for duty, by reason of previous indulgence in alcoholic stimulants.' Wyett pleaded not guilty but was found guilty and sentence to be dismissed from His Majesty's Service as from 22nd of August 1917.
Re-enlisted with the New Zealand Army Service Corp as a driver for Mechanical Transport. Recieved a temporary commission as Lieutenant for Transport duty on the S.S. Rimutaka as a Dental Officer. He may have also seen servicce with the Wairarapa Mounted Rifles.

Initiated into Warner Lodge No. 2256, aged 33, at Chingford in Essex and was recorded on the ledger as a Surgeon Dentist, resident at Hornchurch. He had taken all his ceremonial by 15 November, 1916 receiving his Grand Lodge Certificate in December of the same year. He maintained his membership for 5 years, resigning 16th March, 1921.
He joined Edward the Confessor Lodge No. 3782 at Hornchurch, Essex on 31st March, 1917 less than a year after its consecration. He is recorded as an Army Officer. His time in this lodge was short-lived as it remarks that he resigned (with many others - so probably a correction to the records) on 16th January, 1919 and also on the same line that he was excluded under Rule 175.
Charles died, aged 52, following an emergency intervention on 5th October, 1935, where it is reported that his wrist had been cut, presumably with a razor. [Telegraph PA]. At the time of his death he was living at Lower Hutt City, Wellington NZ and is interred at Karori Cemetery and Crematorium.
