Detail :

He attested 14th January, 1941 for service in WW2 citing "formerly a Captain with 4 years" previous experience prior to WW1.

Received an MBE in the 1919 New Years Honours list.

He is commemorated for his service on the Auckland Museum Online Cenotaph.
