In the contribution records of the United Service Lodge No. 3285 at the United Grand Lodge of England it shows that William is an Entered Apprentice (not joined from another lodge) and excluded 28.2.18, when a number of members were noted as having been in arrears of subscription. Looking further afield there are further records for a William Frederick Richmond in the same area but in other Lodges.

A William Frederick Richmond appears to have been the Founding Junior Warden of the Northern Nigeria Lodge No. 3325, quoting Lodge 1695 (New Finsbury Park Lodge, London) as his sponsor lodge. After three years of arrears noted between 1914 to 1916, he is excluded under Rule 175.

A William Frederick Richmond appears to have been a founder of Zungera Lodge, joining from Northern Nigeria Lodge 3325 upon consecration 11th May 1911. This Lodge did not survive long as it handed back its warrant on 4th March 1914.

A William Frederick Richmond appears in the Register of New Finsbury Park Lodge, London, having been initiated in 1904. He, again, is in arrears of subscription by 1910. and is subsequently excluded by 1913. This W.F. Richmond was aged 33 and a Civil Engineer, from Epsom Downs upon initiation, December 20th, 1904.

It is not possible to make a direct link to the United Service's "Richmond" to all the others apart from the fact they are in the same area in Africa. Ages do not match. All seem to be errant to the obligations they had taken though.
