 9th (Service) Battalion Formed at Warley in August 1914 as part of K1 and attached to 35th Brigade in 12th (Eastern) Division. Moved to Shorncliffe and in March 1915 went to Blenheim barracks at Aldershot. 31 May 1915 : landed at Boulogne
